We don't have a formal mission statement. Our goals are very simple. We have discovered GNU/Linux and want to talk to others who have made the same discovery. We are experts and novices, professionals and hobbyists, young and old. Whoever you are, we hope we have something for you.

CLUG Board Minutes 23/Jul/2005

Attending: Jeff Spray, Jim Weirich, Mark Harris, Don Smith

The meeting was called to order at 12:19 by Jeff Spray

Logo Contest

The board needs to decide on the prize for the logo contest. Celeste let us see her muvo device. Jim Weirich moved to make the first prize for the Logo contest a muvo, at a price up to $150. Motion carried

Jim Weirich moved that we accept Kip Shaffer’s suggested Logo Contest rules with the following modifications.

  • Submissions by Feb 25th
  • Web page up by March 11th
  • Vote to be taken at the March CLUG meeting on march 25.
  • Submitter grants CLUG the rights to display submissions on the website for purposes relating the contest.

Jim will publish the updated logo contest rules within the week.
