Welcome to the Cincinnati GNU/Linux Users Group!

Our Mission

We don't have a formal mission statement. Our goals are very simple. We have discovered GNU/Linux and want to talk to others who have made the same discovery. We are experts and novices, professionals and hobbyists, young and old. Whoever you are, we hope we have something for you.

Come and check us out!

What is GNU/Linux?

GNU/Linux is an alternative operating system for your PC. GNU/Linux is a variant of Unix and provides a very powerful platform for applications and development. I suggest that you read The Linux Journal's very good description of GNU/Linux.

Meetings

CLUG meetings are normally on the fourth Saturday of the month (except when it conflicts with major holidays). Meetings are open to the general public (but you must be a member to participate in the raffles and be eligible for the free goodies that are available).

Contact Us

The best way to contact us is by e-mail. You can easily ask questions and get help on one of our mailing lists. You can contact our board members directly. Or, you can send us snail-mail at
